Class lengths range from 45 minutes to an hour and a half, with some classes running concurrently meaning you will have several options and ways to fit training into your schedule. You will see that each class has its own feel and focus making it easy to tailor a regimen to your specific needs and goals.

A typical 45 minute- 1 hour  class at Lanna will include a combination of skipping, calisthenic exercises, strength building exercises, and technique development on the bags and pads and students can expect to burn approximately 800 CALORIES IN ONE CLASS!

                                                                                                                  What is Kickboxing?

The term Kickboxing often refers to any Martial Arts style which incorporates both strikes with the hands and strikes with the feet. The style of kickboxing that we practice at Lanna MMA is Muay Thai  or Thai Kickboxing. Thai Kickboxing has been proven to be the most effective form of kickboxing for both self defense and fitness. Thai Kickboxing has a high emphasis on strength and conditioning and workouts are very high energy, emphasizing hitting bags/pads and different calisthenic and strength building exercises. Other forms of kickboxing often emphasize kata’s and developing form and weapons in the mirror, which does not burn nearly as many calories as making impact on pads and bags.
