Muay Thai Kickboxing, BJJ, MMA, and Boxing are all great high intensity workouts. It is important to make sure you are fueling your body for these workout with clean and high energy food to boost your energy. These great no-bake fruit and oat energy balls will give you enough clean fuel to help you push through your workout!

They’re a great snack to take on-the-go (for your kids too!) and will leave you feeling satisfied for hours. Ditch the coffee and processed sugary snacks, and try out the recipe below:

#Lannastrong Fruit & Oat Energy Balls Recipe:

Makes: 12 to 15 balls
Total time: 10 mins

Ingredients:

· 1 cup rolled oats
· ½ almond butter or peanut butter
· ¼ cup of ground or mulled flax seed
· ¼ cup of chia seed
· 1 tablespoon of honey or any sweetener of your choice
· 2-3 tablespoons of a dried berry or a mix of berries
· 2 tablespoons of yogurt chips or white chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions:

Mix oats, almond butter, flax seed, chia seed into a bowl. Slowly add the dried berries and yogurt chips. Add honey or other sweetener to taste. Adjust recipe to how liquidy or stiff the mixture comes out. Add more honey for more of a liquid texture, or add oats if the mixture is not stiff enough.

After all of the ingredients are mixed, roll balls into your hand and lay out on cookie sheet.

Keep refrigerated until serving.
